SWE Southwestern College Upcoming Events

Volunteering Events
San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering
"Our mission is to provide learning goals, opportunities, and activities that are tailored specifically for the elementary and middle-school age students to receive and obtain theoretical and hands-on application of computer and electrical engineering concepts."
- Hands-On Technology Education
"Two critical roles among volunteers at stations:
Greeter/Sign-In: You’re the face of the station greeting families and visitors! You will sign folks in, ensuring to capture all information so that we may follow up with them later. You can answer questions about tech, the event, or direct them to HOTE staff for programming/company questions.
Demo/Tech Support: You’re the dream-team of tech, leading demos with tablets, VR headsets, laptops and more! You’ll need to be savvy (but not an expert), personable, friendly, and ready to show off your STEAM skills."

Club Socials
General Body Meetings
SWE at Southwestern College, along with SHPE at Southwestern College, welcome you to join us for our general body meetings!

In these meetings, students will receive the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, develop professional skills, establish life-long connections, and much more!
Board members from both organizations will frequently give brief presentations to keep members up-to-date on community outreach opportunities, networking events, STEM project workshops, or any additional activities that we think chapter members will enjoy.
